Arkalalah

We took the girls down to Ark City to meet the family for the parade today. The weather was GORGEOUS and we had great seats thanks to Aunt Kelli who went uptown and put out our chairs in the wee hours that morning. Thanks KEL!!!

The girls were pumped to get candy at the parade and hang out with their cousins!

Crosby and Kaitlinn, the candy chasers
Chelo had a PRIME seat!

Adler got tons of good loot.

The girls loved dancing to all of the bands!!

Paisley just chilled the whole time.

We kept her supplied with suckers. She was STICKY!
After the parade it was off to the carnival to ride a few rides!
Adler is our little daredevil. She goes STRAIGHT for the hard stuff!

If you look closely at the top car you can see her hands up in the air. THE WHOLE TIME!!!

The little look-alikes waiting for their turn to ride.

This crew chooses the Tilt-a-Whirl as their first stop.

Adler takes on the Kamikaze!!

Paisley finally gets free to stretch her legs only to head straight for the electrical wires. She is TROUBLE!

And then it was her turn. She LOVE LOVE LOVED the carousel. She was absolutely giddy the whole time! Squealing away!

Whew, we finished our long day with a trip to Long Johns! YUM! and then it was straight home for baths and bed. We are at it again today, ready to get back out there and Trick or Treat. What a fun time of the year! Happy Halloween!

Sonogram Day

Heath and I went back to the dr. today for our 1st sono. I had my 1st monthly appt last week. According to my last period I should be about 13 weeks but she thought I was measuring 15+. So she wanted a sonogram done ASAP to find out my true due date.
It is one of the most AMAZING feelings to me when you see your baby for the first time. Both on screen and in real life. I know what to expect by now but I am still always taken back by the miracle of it all. That my little skinny baby is kicking away safely in my tummy. That after only 13 weeks of growth you can see all of the little arms, legs, hands and feet! A tiny little growing, healthy baby. WHEW!! I could go on and on.... BUT I won't!
The sono tech confirmed my 13.5 weeks of gestation--just as I thought- with a due date of April 21st. Dr. McClure said the reason my uterus was measuring big was probably because I had had a baby in the last year!! Oh yeah!
The sonogram also showed COMPLETE placenta previa. We talked about things I should and should not do and I am not too worried. I will take it easy with my workouts and try to keep Heath at bay ;) poor guy! I had partial previa with Paisley and it worked itself out by my 20th week and we are hoping it does the same this time.
So that's our update for now. I am constantly posting in my mind but little Paisley and her big sisters are keeping me soo busy. We talk CONSTANTLY about what our life is going to be like in 6 months and on from there! Right now I am not trying to get too far ahead of myself and just take in everyday. Because even though pregnancy can really SUCK...it also has some really awesome benefits that I am trying to savor as I know this is my very LAST pregnancy.

11 Months!! And some BIG News!

Our little girl is growing up sooo quickly!! In just one month she will be having a birthday party! And another BIG event is coming up for her in a few months!...................

Our baby Paisley is going to be a BIG sister!!! I know, can you BELIEVE it?!?!? We were planning on having ONE more and by golly if it didn't happen much soon than later!!
We feel very lucky and blessed to be having this baby. Since it took us close to 2 years to be pregnant with Paisley we had anticipated some wait again this time around and much to our surprise we wouldn't have to wait for our last baby AT ALL!!! I will post another pregnancy post soon, I just HAD to share!...but for now I must get back to my current little love bug!

She is a clapping and waving FOOL these days. She has been doing both for a while but has recently been doing it more that usual. clapping when she hears music and other people clapping..waving at anyone who will wave back at her. Really interacting with people now! We went to the SC homecoming parade Saturday and one of the floats went by and everyone was smiling and waving at us. we looked at Paisley in her stroller and she was waving at everyone going by---tooo cute!!!

This is her "pointing" at the camera. She can point with just her pointer finger though but sometimes it is a whole hand point.

At 11 months Paisley Ryan is.....

  • Walking and running eveywhere
  • eating anything and everything we offer
  • shaking her head if she is full and doesn't want another bite
  • throwing her bottle when she is done drinking
  • bursting out of 12 month clothes and beginning to wear mostly 18 months
  • in size 5 shoes
  • starting to accept that it is cold and she has to wear shoes (and is finally learning how to walk in them). She HATES anything confining...shoes, clothes... just like crosby did.
  • has 7 teeth
  • climbs stairs like a champ (much to our panic!)
  • she can get on her tummy and crawl down off of the couch or her trampoline
  • sleeping 8pm to 7am plus morning, afternoon, and evening 2 hour naps
  • still wearing size 3 diapers
  • gives hugs and kisses on command (she has a one arm and two arm version of her hugs!)
  • she will lay her head on your chest when she is giving mommy and daddy love.
  • is starting to be a TOTAL daddy's girl...just like the rest of them!! Maybe i'll have a boy this time and get one for myself!!

Well, that is about all I can think of for now. I will be back in a day or two with our Pregnancy Story!!!
