Today was a big day!! Crosby is going to her first day of Kindergarten at Lowell in Mrs. Macias' class! The same place big sister Adler and her mommy went for all of our grade school years. We talked about sending her to Whittier this year, just because we thought it would be a good experience for her to try a new school to see if there were anythings we liked better about it...but OH NO! Cros insisted on going to Lowell and we didn't have any real reason to not let her. So it was off to Lowel she would go! She got up and ready really fast this morning ready to rock! She also insisted on taking her lunch today in her new lunch box! ***UPDATE***She likes it just fine so far. Winfield schools are going from 8:00-3:30 this year which is a long day as it is...especially if you are crosby and have been going to preschool for the last 3 years for only 2 1/2 hours a day!!! It's a big switch for her. She is very serious about school and everything they are doing. We read EVERY night even though she only has to read every other. She is just like Adler was about her reading!!!
Adler is back at the Winfield Intermediate School (aka the WIS) this year. She is in 6th grade in Mrs. See's class and couldn't have been MORE ready for school to start. She had been ready and anxious for WEEKS!! She even has a LOCKER this year! FUN! I was lucky to be able to go to school a little late this morning so I could take my girls to their first day!!! Such an exciting time!!
