Christmas Day 2009

Adler had planned to set her alarm for 5am Christmas morning!! I said no way, that the earliest they could get up was 7am!! So at 6:58 I heard the girls stirring around so we got up quickly to go downstairs with them to see their faces when they saw all of the goodies under the tree. Dad had a HAUL in his stocking that included Superman boxers, a new Yankee's cap, and... $30 in winning scratch tickets!! WooHOo! He was a little leery of the tickets though because the last time he got lottery tickets in his stocking some ornery person (aka his dad) stuck a fake ticket in. Poor Heath thought he won $5,000...I knew about it the whole time and I couldn't look at his face when he found out it was a fake! He was soo excited! In the two minutes before he found out the joke he had already planned to buy a new golf cart and take the girls to Disney World! :*(

This year I gave Heath a Keurig single cup coffee maker. I was pretty excited to give him this. I thought about it for him last year but didn't get it and when I was in the hospital having Paisley I ordered it in the middle of the night from QVC!!! When we got home from the hospital and there were packages on the front porch he just looked at me like "what in the world did you order??" little did he know I came within inches of ordering a really cool fireplace from the Amish! Ahh those infomercials can sell you anything!!!

As you may have noticed I didn't make the blog. there was one terrible picture of me so I decided not to post it online for the world to see. But I will tell you I had a great year. Not only did I have my happy and healthy family (with the addition of my Christmas Baby this year!) but I got so many great gifts. A gift card to my fave pink store on earth the Attic, a beautiful wind chime, and this awesome new laptop!!
the screen is huge and I have just been on it messing around with everything for hours. My MIL thinks that I would blog more since I have a new computer....I'm not sure where all of the time has gone!! I am in the process of getting all caught up with tons of fun family blogs so hang in there and keep checking everyday. i go back to work tomorrow...oh no!!...and I have the feeling that life is about to get semi-back to normal. I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and here's to the best year ever! 2010!!
