National Scrapbook Day
Here is a little glimpse of the Make-N-Take I did at the attic on Saturday for Nat'l Scrapbook Day. It was kinda crazy!! I planned on being there after noon some time because I wanted to spend time with my girls Sat. morning since I was going to be gone all day/evening. Well, as I was driving through Augusta (about 10 miles from Andover) Steff-to owner of Scrapfunattic and a good friend of mine started texting me to hurry. I almost wrecked into a median reading the text while trying to hurry!!! She wasn't joking around. As soon as I walked in the door of the store the ladies were ready to get started! I didn't even have time to bring my stuff in from the car! I was literally thrown in head first which shouldn't be any big deal because I teach all day every day but this was WAY different. Like usually I have time to set up the class materials BEFORE my students come!! Well not this time. I kind of improvised some things all the while my head was SPINNING!!! Some of the ladies really got into the project and there were some other HIGH Maintenance ladies that were getting frustrated because they needed more attention than I could give them!!! It didn't bother me since I am used to the teeny boppers but these were GROWN WoMEN so it really makes me laugh and shake my head thinking about it!! STEFF had warned me for sure!! Well as a first time goes it probably went just fine and I am looking forward to the next time. What a SWEET challenge!! We Maked and Taked from 1-6pm and I was sooo ready to sit down!! I did finally and managed to stay and crop til 5am!! I know, we're CRAZY!! We just LOVE it!! I tell people that yes, you do have to love being creative but it is a lot about spending time with girlfriends and laughing til you cry!! Steff, Cheryl, and Dana were great cropping buddies.... i did miss my Lindsay though... :(
