Baby Updates

Her little belly button cord is on the verge of falling off so I wanted to get a quick pic of it. I did end up giving her a quick bath in her pink tubby yesterday b/c she had a HUMONGOUS yellow poop explosion! We normally just wipe her down (until her cord falls off) but this could not be helped. Her sisters are DYING to give her baths so I am sure we will have tons of "First Bath" pictures to share. Each night she is sleeping longer and longer, thankfully! She started out at 1 and a 1/2 hours at a time and now averages about 3 hours at night!! Last night she even slept from midnight to 4am!! I was ecstatic but was restless and never got a good nap from there on until this afternoon so needless to say I was still one tired momma but I did see some light in this tunnel!! Our friend Nancy came by to hold Paisley today and we had a great chat. Thanks for coming by Nancy and thanks for more Paisley presents! You are just too sweet!
We ended up getting out of the house 2 times today, which is World Record for us. She slept the whole time while Crosby watched Elf, and Adler sat up front talking to me. We are so thankful for our new vehicle...it fits us to a "T"! As for me...well I am getting around great with only a small amount of tenderness in my incision area and a few other symptoms that I will spare the details of! But holding her and sleeping funny has given me a neck ache for almost 2 weeks now and it has just been miserable. It tends to get worse at night so I am constantly applying the Icy Hot and heating pad which seem to help some. When I went to the OB last week she said my iron is low and combined with my new interval sleep schedule has caused me to drag around the house. Luckily Heath has stepped up and taken care of all of the dishes and laundry since we have been home. Thanks honey!! I am getting a tad restless though and ready to start doing some scrapbooking soon. I did work on Paisley's rug some more last night. I have 3 new sheets to add to it so after I add those it should be a pretty good size until I can find more. Heath is off tomorrow so that will help a lot--I'm looking forward to spending the day with him!
