Big Day!

Today was pretty big for us but it definitely doesn't take much these days for it to be a big one since all Paisley seems to want to do is sleep and eat!! :) My mom and her BF Renea came by to hold the baby and take Crosby out to lunch at Neives'. They even brought back food for us so that was a triple bonus!!!

Going for her first ride in her "big girl" car seat. I just HAD to get out of the house for a little bit -going a little stir crazy- and since it was sunny and 80 degrees we decided to go to the park.

and while we were there Paisley was all snug in her sling and look what she found....

her THUMB-Y!!!! Now I don't know if it was just a fluke and she was looking for any comfort she could find but she was definitely sucking away! I expected her to be a thumb sucker since it is apparently a gene I pass on to my children! I haven't seen her looking for her thumb much more so we will see if she is a thumb sucker like her sisters!


And here we are leaving the park. I think your memory purposely blocks bits and pieces of pregnancy and new motherhood. There are soo many things about having a new baby and recovering from surgery that I just didn't remember, and most of them aren't too pleasant so I'm not sure how I forgot! One thing is that I am pretty swollen EVERYWHERE!!

I am keeping a good eye on everything, so no worries there but recovery is happening- however slow going it may seem. Our outing was nice but I don't know if I'll be leaving the house again soon unless it is supa necessary!
