BeWaRe of the STAIR!!!

Well Spring Break Day 2 is underway. Today we are tackling the stairs and the big girls' room. So of course there is a little story to tell about the goings on, how could there not be? :) So Mr. Crabby Ass aka Heath Curtis (he is ALWAYS cranky at project time!!) decided that while I was prepping the girls room to be painted last night that he would take the carpet off of the bottom stair only. Say it all together ...... "Random Man".... by doing so this act alone led to quite an eventful 12 hours. It all started with me... as I was coming down the stairs my bare foot hit hardwood which in my mind meant I was at the bottom of the stairs but since RM had 'DONE WORK' I in fact still had a step to go!! Since I have mad dexterity I managed to skid a little but stay on my feet... not a few minutes later Mah repeated my act, next came Pete our big boxer and then RM aka heath. I wasn't there to witness but apparently he caught himself but "jammed his knee" in the process hee hee hee. Then my poor niece Addalinn bit it TWICE falling forward she even had a little red mark on her forhead :( Kel I promise she is safe here!! When I got up this morning Heath told me that he had gotten up to take the dogs out at about 6am and completely bit it this time!! He said he was totally sprawled out at the bottom of the stairs!! And as luck would have it Mah happend to be in the downstairs bathroom getting ready to go take the SAT. The bathroom is RIGHT at the bottom of the stairs!! He heard the commotion and stuck her head out to see Heath's fall aftermath!! She said "are you okay?" He was thankfully, because I can't help but laugh picturing the whole thing in my head! He wanted to make sure I blogged about it tonight, secretly he doesn't mind my "laughing with him" ;) online!! Needless to say we got up and took off the rest of the carpet from the stairs!! We worked ALL day and right now I am so exhausted I can hardly type so I am off to bed. Niteynite. d
