Last Night

I was VERY tired on Monday after a wonderful weekend of cropping. i was less tired on Tuesday but I was still looking forward to a nice quiet evening at home with the family. As I was driving home I remembered that I needed to run to Dillons and pick up salsa ingredients. One of my student's birthdays is today and she requested my salsa and I couldn't say no to her on her bday!!! I was feeling a little queasy after that so I made a side trip to Sonic for one of my current cravings: onion rings. SO VERY RANDOM... not because I didn't like onion rings before I was pregnant but I just never ate them!!! And lately I find myself wanting them!!! So I got everyone a drink and headed to the house. Heath and the girls were in the front yard playing soccer so I sat outside with them for a minute. They are pretty cute to watch but after listening the three of them bicker practically the whole time--- I was finished with that!! I went upstairs, got on my comfys and watched a little DVR. I chose Oprah, of course, and this one was about motherhood. Did anyone see it??? I thought it was GREAT!! It made me think about the way I parent and remember that we can't, as mothers, do EVERYTHING even if we try!!! One lady said she only showers twice a week and at one time she went 3 WEEKS without bathing her twins!!! I don't know about all that!! I know there is ALWAYS time in my day for a shower and Heath and I were laughing about the twins, like even if you are that busy/tired surely there is a husband/ babysitter/ sibling/ grammy/friend... SOMEONE that would give your poor kids a bath!!! That lady may have been a little off her rocker!! I know we get busy and tired but come on!! Oh!, and there was another lady that started blogging when she was pregnant and has so many followers that her and her husband both quit their jobs to stay home and run her "blog." They make a TON on advertising on her site I guess. I don't think enough people would care about my scrapbook pages and kids activities to support us!!! I can dream though! Maybe if I tell some jokes once in a while... At about 5:30 heath came into our room and said "just drop the girls off at the fields in about 15 minutes." (for the soccer game) I looked at him like WTH??? I didn't know what to say but I stammered a little and said something like "wh wh what are you going to be doing?" After all he is the COACH!! He just started laughing at me-- what a jokester!! Maybe he should get on here once in a while and tell a joke since he is so stinkin funny!!! So he took All 3 Girls with him to the game (normally he would've left Cros for me to bring, but since he helped get me into this situation that I am in he is being EXTRA nice!! What a good guy!! I showed up right at 6. It was a good game, the girls won 1-0 (not that I really pay attention to the score) and they played so hard. I am so proud of how hard they work out there. After the game somebody came up to me and asked if Crosby played soccer. I said she does and she LOVES soccer, WHY? I guess before I got there she was running up and down the field dribbling the ball. They said SHE IS SOO GOOD!!! Then they went on to say how good all three of the girls were...so nice to hear!!!!

As soon as we got home I whipped up some of "My Famous" as Adler refers to my salsa

We had taquitos, beans, and chips and salsa. It was good! While they were watching Idol I went to get my shower.... SO MUCH FOR MY NICE QUIET EVENING!!!! oh well, it was fun.

Oh, and on one last TOTALLY Awesome note... I was drinking chocolate milk right before bed and I got a BRILLIANT idea to drink it out of Crosby's Lilo and Stitch straw, one of the hard plastic kind. Somehow I managed to break off half of my front tooth!!! So it is 9:30am and I am getting ready to leave school to go to the dentist. LOVELY!!!!!! I would post a picture but I look like a hillbilly!!! so it is not happenin!
