The big girls had a soccer game tonight which they won 2-0.
Chelo scored tonight and Adler had several close shots. It is so cool to watch them play together! After the game the girls still wanted to play outside (it is in the 70s still in the evenings) so we played a little family kickball. I even got in on a little of the action but dad put a nix on any running for me and even the slightest quick side to side movements give me sharp twinges of pain so I was more of a cheerleader!!! When it got too dark for them to play anymore we all came in and got ready for bed. I didn't take any pics of it but I have a funny little Crosby story... so before bedtime she wanted to give "make overs" and "massages" in her salon. So she got her room all straightened up (which she NEVER does) and gathered a bunch of stuff.
Apparently she was in the upstairs closet cause she had a bunch of my old make up and a TON of hair stuff. I went first of course and she painted my nails, brushed out my hair (LOVELY!), and put lip gloss and mascara on me!!! I know MASCARA!! At first I was like NO WAY and she just looked at me with that
sweetsweet face I can't turn down so I let her and she did fine. After, she had me lay down for my "3 minute massage." She asked me about every 10 seconds if it had been 3 minutes yet and finally I just said yes!! After my appointment, she needed another customer but Adler had already crashed out, so she went for dad. His first response was "Dad's don't get make overs" but again, he gave right in to her sweetness. She said "I'll make you look like a runner daddy." So he agreed and she put a headband on him like a runner's sweat band then all
I could hear was this loud hissing sound and Heath saying "Crosby, what was that?!?!?!" and in her teeny tiny voice she said "it is just hairspray, daddy!" By that time I had gone in to see his reaction and we just kind of looked at each other and he said "of course...hairspray!!" duh daddy, don't you know all runners use hairspray?!?!?
Sooo cute I am still smiling about it today.
