Vamos a Camp Jayhawk!!!

A little recap of the past few day's events in the land of the red and blue grass...

Lindsay and her fiance Jerome (aka Jeremy) setting up their Bluegrass casita! Jeremy is a big K-State fan so he was pumped to discover he was camping in the land of the blue and red!!!
ShUT Up!! I know!!! ...do not adjust your monitors!! That is Mr. Curtis (along with Cliff and Jerome) building something!!! Notice that Cliff was careful not to actually have Heath touch the drill for fear that a nasty case of Tool Allergy might break out!! Whew, dodged a HUGE bullet there!! Don't want my hubby to be incapacitated during Bluegrass!!!
Heath knew that there was NO WAY I was camping without AC. Since our camper ac isn't working they built a stand for a window unit. You could hang meat in our camper! YES!!!!
Linds, Cros, and I before we went on our walk about... We walked all over the grove checking out different camps and really giving Jerome a chance to scope the place out!! He was surprised when he heard one camp singing a "real song" not just a Bluegrass song he hadn't ever heard!!! Crosby ended up crashing out while we were talking to some friends and I had to carry her back to camp!! Linds, Jeremy, and I ended up staying up til 1:15 talking and laughing!!

Crosby "playing with" her new friend Alex Zollman. Alex's parents, Cliff and Michelle (Stout's sister- still with me???) are camping with us this year. Alex played soccer with her for hours and she calls him "my new friend."

Sr. Poppito!!!!

Crosby liked the smiley face camp!!

Crosby was the first kid to get to swing in LaLa land this year. A camp right up the road from us sets up a huge tree swing every year. Our girls LOVE
LaLa Land....definitely one of their most precious Bluegrass memories!!!
We thought we needed a campfire but it was mostly a campsmoke!!!

this was Paisley and my view most of Sunday!!!

Silly girl!! She just loves it at camp and has officially declared Sunday as PJ Day!!! She sported her Care Bear pjs all day and no one even blinked an eye at her. Everyone there is so laid back--anything goes!! It is soo nice to have a couple of weeks out of my life surrounded by that mentality.

Swing me daddy!!!
