Rock Chalk Camp Jayhawk!!

Yesterday Mimi brought me this BIG pile of beautifully tye-dyed t-shirts. Every year we make t-shirts to wear to Bluegrass to represent our beloved camp Jayhawk and this is what we have come up with this year (last year we were red and blue tye dye OBAMA 2008). I am going to be doing some writing on them (peace, love, and Camp Jayhawk) tonight to have them ready to go this weekend!!! Landrush was supposed to be this morning but was pushed back until Saturday because the river is supposed to crest (if it hasn't already) and then fall just as quickly. So, it is a relief that it was postponed because last year we got everything set up and the rain came and everything had to be moved out PRONTO. We ended up Bluegrassing at the lake (which was fun) but I think our group is looking forward to returning to "normal" at the fairgrounds. As for me...well we shall see how I do with the whole camping thing... it could really go either way. I may be just fine and having a great time or miserable and heading home every night to sleep in my bed while everyone else camps. Stay tuned for TONS of fun pics in the week to come!!!
